Lineshaft Turbine Pump Job Description

OVERVIEW:
Looking for an individual with significant experience in lineshaft vertical turbine pump sales in any market. This person could be adept as an inside applications engineer, outside traveling salesperson, startup and field service engineer, or any mix thereof. Experience with 150 HP and larger submersible turbines is a plus. We are looking for a career oriented individual with five + years experience working on the job routinely selling lineshaft turbine pumps.
Very competitive salary by experience and merit, possible negotiable commission. Around 45-55 hrs/wk. Less than 25% travel. Paid holidays, vacation and sick leave. Medical and dental. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
High touch, relationship based, sales throughout Washington and Oregon, optional focus on Portland Metro areas. Energetic promotion of products and services, working to build relationships with new and existing customers and have products and services specified. Activities may vary depending on applicants strengths. System design and quotation of new projects and replacement equipment. Tenacious follow up on open quotations, and project details. Anticipation of issues, flaws, and requirements of system design, installation, and maintenance. Liaison, instruction and facilitation between installation crews, office and customers. Other products may include pumps, motors, tanks, valves, control panels, and drives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Five + years experience working regularly selling lineshaft turbine pumps. Sales and customer service attitude. Works well with people. Follow through, attention to detail, determination required. Strong mechanical, hydraulic aptitude. Ability to comprehend hydraulic motion, and its relationship to system performance.
