New Home Pressure Tank Installation
Drinking water pump systems for new homes are typically installed in two phases. In the first phase, a pump is properly sized for the well and the future homes water and irrigation needs, then it is installed. The well water would be tested for potability, to obtain a building permit for the home.
In the second phase, after home construction is started, we would return to install your wiring and water piping from the well to the home, and your water pressure tank and pump controls. We call the second phase the "offset." Most often the best spot for the water pressure tank and pump controls is in the garage to help keep them from freezing. Most often we would start the second phase after the new garage floor has been poured, and then we would hook into an inlet and outlet in the garage wall, and a main inlet outside the house, provided by your contractor.
I was very happy with everyone at Mather. I had two people recommend them, and I will pass thier name on to everyone.
